BIOL 225 - Population Genetics


Examines the processes that cause changes in the genetic structure of populations, including mutation, natural selection, genetic drift, and gene flow, and the data and analytical approaches used to detect such processes, including microsatellite analysis, coalescent theory, and phylogeography.

Prerequisites: BIOL 118  or BIOL 105 , or permission of instructor.
