ENG 207 - Advanced Creative Writing with Forums

The Advanced Fiction Writing Workshop offers students who are serious about writing fiction–short stories or novels–a supportive seminar setting to present their work for discussion and suggestions, to learn how to critique the writings of others, and to participate in discussions about the art and craft of fiction writing. Open to students who have already taken Creative Writing Workshop Fiction and/or Novel Writing I, or with the permission of the instructor.

Prerequisites: Any one of the following courses may serve as a prerequisite for ENG 207:  ENG 101 Intro to Creative Writing, ENG 107 Creative Writing: Poetry, ENG 111 Creative Writing: Nonfiction, ENG 206 Writing the Novel I, and ENG 209 Writing the Novel II.
