MIS 5604 - Web-site Development


This course covers many aspects of Web-site design, from creative design to professional management. Electronic commerce issues will be looked at in-depth. Students will work with and learn HTML, Java Scripting, and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). Students taking this class will find a client and create a live website as a course project. Course classes will include labs working with Photoshop for graphic design. No programming experience is required. Individual course lectures will cover the topics of web analytics, search engine optimization, starting your own web development company, and other webmaster capabilities.

Open to MBA students only.

Prerequisites: MIS 4500
