ENG 253 - Advanced Studies in Shakespeare

Intended to build on English 120 and/or 140, this seminar examines a variety of Shakespeare plays and relevant contemporary works within the contexts of family relationships, domestic violence, and early modern ideas about the household as a microcosmic state. For undergraduate English majors this course satisfies the Period (C-1) requirement. Prerequisites: ENG 120 or TA 214 or permission of the Instructor.
