MUSC 226 - Music Theater Masterclass

Students will explore the musical theatre repertoire through solo performances, scenes, and group projects. Students will develop strategies for character development and research, preparation for professional auditions, and the management of performance anxiety. Vocal training and voice care will be emphasized, and students will perform frequently as part of the ongoing work of this course, learning from the feedback of their peers as well as the guidance of the instructor. The course will culminate in a final performance showcase.  Enrollment by permission of the instructor.
