ID 170 - Ecology and Economy in the Tropics

In the ecological conditions of the tropics, how can we reduce hunger and improve economic conditions sustainably? Examines how economic management in tropical ecosystems interacts with cultural history, natural resources, economic theory, and international institutions. Classroom discussions focus on readings, while each student may focus on a topic of individual interest in course projects.
