MGMT 4701 - Organizational Communication

This course is designed to increase students’ knowledge of the theory and practice of communication in organizations. Topics include a theoretical approach to organizations including motivation, interpersonal communication issues, the effects of culture, status and gender, along with organizational issues such as crisis communication and public relations. Much of the course is devoted to skill development, emphasizing both written and oral presentations.
