MUSC 223 - Theory III: Counterpoint

With a special focus on the definitive tonal counterpoint of Johann Sebastian Bach, this course studies contrapuntal styles and procedures used by composers throughout the development of Western art music as models for independent creative work.

Prerequisites: MUSC 121 , MUSC 122 .
