Overview


Graduate Program


The Clark University M.S.F. program is a rigorous curriculum focusing on the skills and knowledge required to apply advanced financial theories to complex financial management problems. To be successful in this program, students need to have strong mathematical skills, along with required prerequisite course work in the following areas:

  • Financial Accounting
  • Calculus
  • Economic Theory
  • Statistics

 

Graduate Program Requirements


The M.S.F. degree is offered as a full-time cohort program, completed in three semesters. Completion of the Career Training Cohort class and a graduate internship are required for all students except those who have 3+ years of professional business work experience or those with full-time employment during the length of the program. It may be possible to waive these requirements. Visit a member of the Stevenish Career Management Center for more information.

The required courses taken for the M.S.F. degree are all full-semester, 14-week courses, each of which count as one unit. The curriculum for the M.S.F. program consists of the following courses, plus an additional 2 units of electives in the areas of finance or accounting, for a total of 10 units:
