BIOL 207 - Conservation Biology


Conservation Biology focuses on the biological underpinnings of efforts to preserve biodiversity in the face of increasing impacts of human activities. This seminar builds upon student background in ecology and evolution, developing skills for assessment of the fundamental biological information needed to develop policy that can lead to the protection of threatened and endangered species/populations/ evolutionarily significant units.

Prerequisites: BIOL 105 ; BIOL 118  ; instructor permission.
