ECON 208 - International Finance

Type of Course: Lecture, Discussion
International macroeconomics at the intermediate level. The fundamentals of international finance are studied: operations of international currency markets, the concept of the balance of payments and fixed versus flexible exchange-rate regimes. Analyzes macroeconomic policies under different exchange-rate regimes; theories of exchange-rate determination and the working of different international monetary regimes.

Prerequisites: ECON 011 ; ECON 206  is recommended.
