ECON 6000 - Macroeconomics


In this introductory course students learn about Keynesian view on macroeconomics (employed by most governments as a recipe against business cycle fluctuations and economic downturns), and main ideas behind the fiscal and monetary policies. Along the way they review such core macroeconomic concepts as gross domestic product, unemployment, inflation, business cycles. Seven weeks.
