ENG 141 - Major British Writers II

Type of Course: Lecture, Discussion
This course examines British literature by major authors from 1700 to the late-19th century in drama, the novel, poetry and prose nonfiction. Texts to be studied will include works by Centlivre, Swift, Defoe, Blake, Wordsworth, Shelley, Dickens, Bronte, Wilde and Conrad. For undergraduate English majors and minors, this course partially satisfies the Historical Sequences (A) requirement.
