ENG 351 - Chaucer

Type of Course: Seminar
Guides the student through “The Book of the Duchess,” “The House of Fame,” “The Parlement of Fowls,” some “Canterbury Tales” and/or “Troilus and Criseyde.” All texts are taught in Middle English, and selections may vary. No prior knowledge of Middle English required. For undergraduate English majors, this course satisfies the Period (C-1b)requirement.
