JS 203 - American Jewish Life

Type of Course: Variable Format
Introduction to the social scientific study of American Jewry. Topics include immigration, economic mobility, intermarriage, Jewish feminism, American Judaism, ethnic identity, anti-Semitism and political behavior. Throughout the semester, comparisons between Jews and other groups are highlighted.
