MGMT 5306 - Diversity in the Workplace


The race and gender composition of the U.S. workforce has become increasingly diverse in recent years. Drawing on research in organizational behavior, psychology and sociology, this course explores the complex dynamics that underlie interpersonal interactions in diverse organizations. Students will examine the past and present experiences of members of different race and gender groups in the U.S. workplace. Finally, students will consider how organizations can manage diversity in a manner that fully utilizes the talents of all members of the workforce. Male and female students of all racial/ethnic backgrounds are encouraged to enroll.

Prerequisites: MGMT 4302 .
