PSYC 222 - Research in Cognitive Development

Type of Course: Laboratory, Discussion
Students participate in an ongoing research project in collaboration with the instructor and graduate students. Students participate in designing and conducting studies in schools and day-care centers, analyzing data and presenting findings. Recent topics include the development of early literacy, the understanding of maps and models in young children, and children’s ideas about the physical world.

Prerequisites: PSYC 105 , PSYC 108 , PSYC 109 , PSYC 150 , instructor’s permission.
