PSYC 327 - Basic Developmental Theories

Type of Course: Graduate Seminar
Provides a systematic overview of core ideas in the selected theories of development. Covered will be theories of Lamarck, Preyer, J.M. Baldwin, Piaget, Vygotsky, Werner, Kaplan, Gottlieb, Fischer and van Geert. Analyzes theoretical systems from the viewpoint of how these theories relate to the phenomena of development, as well as with empirical research practices.
