PSCI 252 - U.S. Political Parties

Examines historical development of the party system in the United States and the structures and activities of the two major parties. Examines historical successes and failures of various types of third parties and comparative analysis with parties in other advanced democracies.

Prerequisites: PSCI 050  or permission of instructor.
