MGMT 4302 - Organizational Leadership This course is designed to provide students with the knowledge, skills and abilities needed to exercise leadership in today’s global organizations. Students will gain the tools needed to lead organizational members towards the attainment of individual, team and organizational goals. Topics include understanding and managing personality differences, working and leading across cultures, building and maintaining effective teams, understanding leader characteristics and behaviors, exercising leadership and influence, empowering and motivating others, creating effective organizational structures, and leading change. Course readings and highly interactive classroom activities (case studies and exercises) will be used to enhance students’ leadership skills.
Open to MBA, MSM, and MSF students only.
Please note: Course previously listed as MGMT 4302 Creating Effective Organizations: Leadership. Students who took the course under that designation should not register for this, as it is the same course.
