SPAN 155 - Contemporary Cultural Issues in Latin America


SPAN155 is an analytical and creative course focusing on Contemporary Cultural Issues in Latin America. We examine essential questions within the context of different expressions of creativity and their unique perspectives (film, essay, literature, art). The selected works and authors illuminate contemporary reality and make the viewer or reader confront the moral and ethical dilemmas of Latin American society.

Prerequisites: SPAN 131  OR SPAN 133  OR PERM; NATIVE SPEAKERS WELCOME
