ENT 110 - Innovation through Sustainable Development


This course takes a hands-on approach to innovation in regard to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). Students will learn by applying these world-adopted goals to change our local world. Students will focus on the principle of “think globally, act locally” and will implement a local project that supports SDGs given their particular resources. This course is designed to develop your leadership skills and while influencing social change through the guidance of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This project-based course focuses on student praxis to the theory of sustainable development with the practice of actually developing real solutions. Students will use social innovation concepts to construct a better understanding of the benefits of incorporating SDGs into the decision-making process of projects.   The course will focus on the triple-bottom line of social, economic, and environmental consideration of social innovation projects.
