PHIL 228 - Technology, Ethics, and Public Policy


In this course, students will study, and learn to address, the most pressing ethical concerns relating to technology, with a special focus on machine learning techniques and artificial intelligence. Students will collaborate with organizations that are currently conducting policy research, developing best practices, and spearheading advocacy campaigns related to the use of digital technology and artificial intelligence. Students will contribute to ongoing and critical conversations about the responsible use of technology at some of the world’s most influential international organizations.
