PHIL 1500 - Philosophy of Religion

A philosophical inquiry into the questions that lie at the center of religion: does God exist?  Is there a soul, and is it immortal?  Are miracles possible?  What is the relationship between faith and reason?  Is the reality of evil compatible with the existence of a good God?

This class is not a typical “religion” class.  We together will delve into the many questions that come to mind when we think of why we do what we do in the name of  “god/God” and the driving force behind the notion of faith.
