TA 122 - Costume Design I: History & Theory

Introduction to design theory and the history of apparel, with an emphasis on the ‘why’ behind what people wore in the past through to the present-day. Beginner and intermediate-level design projects will allow students to build on lecture materials to create their own unique costume designs reflecting various global regions, time periods and socio-economic classes.
