MSEA 3110 - Sports Ticketing and Sales

Provides an overview of the ticket sales and distribution process in the sports industry.  Students learn about the evolution of the ticketing business and how technology has helped make the process of purchasing tickets more efficient and convenient for consumers, including the use of customer relationship management (CRM) which is critical to success and repeat business in the sports industry.  Various CRM systems for tracking and ensuring customer satisfaction are covered.  Students explore the ticket sales and operations job market and how it is the most likely entry point for job seekers in the sports industry.

Prerequisites: MSEA 3000 Introduction to the Sports Industry
