MSCS 3212 - Numerical Analysis

Numerical analysis is a branch of applied mathematics that provides algorithms for computing precise numerical values of mathematical quantities, that are only rarely solvable algebraically, with application to many areas, including computer science, data science and machine learning. The major topics of this course are: approximation and interpolation theory, error analysis, numerical differentiation and integration, solution of ordinary differential equations and linear systems, and solutions of minimization problems. We provide different algorithms to solve these problems and learn how to use MATLAB to facilitate pour computations.
