MSIT 3780 - Introduction to Incident Response and Digital Forensics

This course focuses on learning how triage cyber security incidents using a number of different tools including: OSINT (Open-Source Intelligence) tools, sandboxes, and digital forensics tools to identify malicious software and actions. This course will consist of a significant amount of lab work and will deal with live samples. At the end of this course the students should be able to gain a base knowledge of skills for a SOC (Security Operations Center).
