Students will endeavor to use coaching tools for themselves and with others, to understand their potential benefit and practical applications. Class discussion provides the opportunity for sharing experiences and perspectives, so that participants can develop valuable insights for better self-management skills and understanding of others.

FALL 2022 - MEDIA AND INFORMATION LITERACY

Media literacy is the ability to think critically about what you are seeing, reading, and hearing. It helps us to analyze information from a variety of viewpoints. With so many sources of news, media and information today, critical thinking skills can help people and organizational leaders identify reliable sources and filter through the noise to get at facts that are accurate and reliable. Media literacy is essential because it helps people understand the messages that are being communicated to them, as well as the media and information ecosystems from which they originate.
