MPA 3060 - Social Awareness in Entrepreneurship & Business

This course studies start-up businesses and larger corporations that have included social responsibility in their business models. We will study the process by which these organizations and entrepreneurs develop and fund solutions that directly address social issues, e.g., education, healthcare, substance abuse, police brutality.

Furthermore, we will discuss larger companies that self-regulate through social accountability to their customers, stakeholders, and the world at large. Students will analyze social issues topics, develop and apply solutions through in-class discussions, collaboration, and business planning.
