MUSC 0200 - Guitar

This course will introduce and expand on basic musical concepts as they apply to the guitar: chords, scale, basic music theory, finger picking, strumming patterns, reading notes and TAB, various musical styles and improvisation.  This course is open to anyone interested in learning the guitar and is appropriate for beginner to intermediate level guitarists.  The goal of this course is to provide students with the tools to further explore the music they love!

Note:  An acoustic or electric guitar will be required to participate in this course.  If you do not own a guitar, one will be provided for the duration of the course.
