PHIL 212 - Philosophy of the City

In this course we examine the multi-faceted nature of cities and how they function, including what makes a city thrive, how place informs identity, the role of community amidst anonymity, and how our built environments affect the kind of lives we can lead.  The course includes an experiential research component.
