MSEA 3100 - Sports Facilities & Event Administration

This course provides the history and evolution of event administration from the ancient Greek era to modern sport as we know it today.  Students learn and apply event management principles to strategically plan a sporting event and research a variety of events that are held domestically and globally. Students also examine sport venue construction and the skills needed to effectively manage and operate public assembly facilities.
