MFAV 3202 - Graduate Independent Research Project III

In conjunction with the studio plan prepared at each residency, the student and their faculty advisor develop a research project plan to complement and support the studio plan. This period of sustained inquiry by the student is intended to provide a rigorous and academic exploration of relevant issues. This work is done through the exploration and analyses of critical texts, articles, research documents, audio and video presentations, seminars, relevant exhibitions, conferences and or workshops. The student and faculty advisor determine their communication cadence and a timeline for the student to submit progress papers on their research before the final product for the semester.

Graded Pass/Fail

Prerequisites: MFAV 3102 - Graduate Independent Research Project II
