GENS 0200 - Financial Literacy

This course will introduce students to important topics in the financial world.  Topics include goal setting and budgeting, income and taxes, banking, credit, credit building, loans, saving and investing, stocks, bonds, mutual funds, ETFs and saving for retirement.  We will apply mathematical concepts and use financial data to be able to make informed financial decisions.  Students will be introduced to EXCEL and use EXCEL for class assignments.
