GEOG 243 - Critical Mobilities

This course explores the multiple and complex networks and infrastructures that engender and prohibit the movement of people, information, goods and capital. It also “maps” the space that movement makes. The main objectives of this course are (1) to introduce you to a range of disciplinary approaches that inform the study of movement and immobility and (2) to experiment with various methods through which you might analyze contemporary mobilities.

Prerequisites: GEOG 248
