CSCI 201 - Proseminar In User Interface Design The presentation of topics in computer science by and for senior undergraduates. These presentations acquaint students with diverse subjects, introduce them to researching known topics and give them practice in presenting material to their peers. Faculty members will also present some research topics. Possible areas the topics may be drawn from might include robotics, networking, NP complete problems, neural networks, expert systems, parallel algorithms. Minimum grade of C- required for prerequisites.
SUMMER 2025:
This course introduces students to the fundamentals of user interface (UI) design, integrating Clark University’s Core Curriculum values for a holistic learning experience. Students will explore effective interface design principles, user experience (UX) methodologies, usability testing, and the psychology behind design decisions. Through hands-on projects, collaborative exercises, and critical analysis, students will develop skills that bridge both the technical and human-centered aspects of UI design.
Prerequisites: CSCI 121 - Data Structures or instructor permission.
