GERM 101 - Elementary German I

Imparts an active command of German. Combines grammar, oral practice and readings in daily communications and simple German prose on nontechnical subjects.  There are weekly conversation groups with a teaching assistant and individual laboratory work.

Prerequisites: No more than 1 yr of German; must register for discussion session. 5 seats reserved for first yrs.
