GAME 030 - Examining Play

This course explores game design through the lens of psychology, examining how video games affect the brain, behavior, mood, and emotion. Students will investigate different theories of play, behavioral triggers, player motivation, and emotional responses through be a mix of lectures, group discussions, assigned readings, and tangible group projects.
