FIN 241 - Investment Management

The goal of the course is to help students develop a framework from which to think about and analyze financial investment decisions. Topics include: investor utility, risk and return, diversification, asset-pricing models, market efficiency, security valuation, portfolio management, investment performance measurement, and ethics in investment management. We will tend to focus on the more practical application of these topics, although we will learn enough theory to understand why the practical applications make sense.

Prerequisites: FIN142, QBUS110
