MUSC 129 - Introduction to Composing for New Media, Video and Film

In Introduction to Composing for New Media, Video and Film, Students will learn to score soundtracks for games and video, create music for augmented reality, and score for TV and film. Students will work on independent and group projects and be afforded opportunities for live recordings of their work. The emphasis of the course is on learning how to compose high quality music no matter what the genre or application.

Prerequisites: MUSC 098 or 141 or 121 or permission by the instructor
