MSSA 3140 - Legal Issues in Sports

This course provides a broad overview of legal and business matters that pertain to the various segments of the sports industry. Students gain an understanding of the legal terms, concepts and issues that influence the sports world.  Students review current issues and landmark cases.  Labor issues and collective bargaining as well as risk administration and foreseeable hazards in the sports are researched and discussed.
