CMLT 180 - Decolonial Ecology in the Caribbean

This course focuses on the Caribbean from the perspective of decolonial ecology, using particular locations to examine environmental issues that affect the entire region. Combining a cultural studies approach (essentially through literature and film) with actual case studies, the focus will be on social adjustments, cultural and artistic response, and political action taken (or needed) to address these phenomena.
