MSSA 3150 - Sports Event Programming

This course provides an in-depth exploration of event programming within the context of sports administration.  Students will learn the principles and practices necessary to design, plan, and execute successful sports events. The course covers a wide range of topics, including event conceptualization, marketing, logistics, sponsorship, risk management, implementation, and post-event evaluation.  Through practical projects, case studies, and interactive discussions, students will develop the skills required to manage various types of sports events, from local competitions to large-scale international tournaments.
