ARTS 102 - Foundations in Drawing

This studio-based course introduces the mechanics and expressive potential of drawing. Students investigate traditional illusionistic drawing techniques that facilitate personal expression and subjective response. In exploring the relationship among seeing, thinking, and making, the beginning student will acquire fundamental skills in image making and insight into the creative process in general. Portfolio reviews are NOT required for Visual Arts courses. Open to nonmajors.
