CES 111 - Quantitative Literacy

This course builds quantitative literacy for students who have high-school level mathematics, such as pre-calculus, but have not taken a course in statistics. Students develop skills in numerical computation, data management, graphical display, exponential functions, logarithmic transformations, probability theory, statistical inference, linear regression, and quantitative modeling. The course uses the spreadsheet software Excel.

Prerequisites:

Prerequisites are high school math such as Algebra 2 and/or pre-calculus.
