MGMT 4302 - Organizational Leadership


This course is designed to provide students with the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to lead effectively in today’s global organizations. Students will gain the tools needed to lead organizational members towards the attainment of individual, team, and organizational goals. Topics include working and leading across cultures, designing and managing effective teams, understanding leaders’ characteristics and behaviors, negotiating, influencing and motivating others, managing diversity, creating effective organizational structures, and leading change. The course also discusses how technological advancements, such as artificial intelligence, reshape these processes. Course readings and interactive activities (e.g., case studies, exercises, discussions) will be used to enhance students’ leadership skills.

Please note: Course previously listed as MGMT 4302 Creating Effective Organizations: Leadership. Students who took the course under that designation should not register for this, as it is the same course.
