TA 122 - Costume Design I: History & Theory

Introduction to design theory and the history of apparel, with an emphasis on the ‘why’ behind what people wore in the past through to the present-day. Beginning and intermediate-level design projects focused on character illustration via mood boards, collage, and drawing techniques learned in class will allow students to apply their research findings throughout the semester.
