MSSA 3000 - Introduction to the Sports Industry

Provides students with a broad introduction to the various segments of the sports industry. This includes the various levels of sport from youth to high school, college, professional and international competition. Students research and explore various segments of the sports industry and career opportunities, e.g., sales, marketing, public relations, finance, and team operations, that provide insights into the skills, competencies and the experience required to prepare for a pathway to their chosen area of career interest.
