CJ 2100 - Criminal Law


This course will introduce students to the history of the criminal justice system-how it originated and the developments into our modern-day system. Students will learn the essential elements necessary for criminal culpability and study a variety of crimes such as offenses against the body, property offenses and crimes against the home. Students will explore possible defenses to assess their applicability to the crime.
